Chesapeake Aviation has an American Champion Citabria the premier tailwheel aircraft for training a new or high time tri-wheel aircraft pilot in the skills necessary to transition back to the roots of our aircraft history.
The Citabria is also a fully acrobatic aircraft in which we offer spin training for all pilots who are interested in learning the true world of flying in a truly three dimensional flight envelope as well as those seeking an additional rating.
Our training consists of:
Ground Training on aircraft systems and operation
Flight training to develop skills unique to these aircraft.
Building the appropriate experience to meet insurance solo requirements (see rental page)
